What is an Apple Professional Learning Provider (APLP)?

An Apple Professional Learning Provider is a company authorised by Apple to deliver it’s training and certification programmes. This includes courses like the Apple Learning Institute course, which carries the Apple Learning Leader (ALL) status. Certification courses must be delivered by a qualified Apple Professional Learning Specialist.

How do I become Apple Certified?

Absolutely. Apple have a number of certification programmes, which map across teaching and learning, technical, and app development, with certifications including:

What is macOS Support Essentials?

macOS Support Essentials is a legacy three-day Apple course that demonstrates the best ways to support macOS users. The course includes lectures and hands-on exercises that provide real-world experience.

This has now been superseded by the Apple Device Support course – on completion of the course, delegates are then offered the opportunity to take an exam. Successful completion of the exam leads to the delegate being awarded the ‘Apple Certified Support Professional’ certification.

What is an Apple Certified Trainer?

An Apple Certified Trainer is a person that is certified by Apple to deliver its training and certification courses. Trainers are required to maintain their knowledge, and undergo regular re-certification. Find out more about Apple Certified Trainers here.
